How it works

  • List what you pay for. Type a product name and a category is suggested for well-known tools — change it if it's wrong. Already using the free SaaS Renewal Radar? Import your subscriptions from it in one click.
  • Overlap means two or more tools in the same category ("Other" is never flagged). Same tool, separate contract means the same product name appears more than once — often different departments buying their own.
  • Few seats (optional): enter your team size and a tool is flagged when its seats are below the percentage you choose. Small tools are often easy to fold into the company standard.
  • Savings = annual cost × the % you expect to save by retiring it. Merging two contracts for the same product usually saves less than 100% — the seats move rather than disappear.
  • Timing: retirements are sorted by next renewal (dates in the past roll forward a year). Decide before the notice deadline, not the renewal date.
  • Some products span categories (for example, a suite with chat and meetings). Put each in the category where overlap matters most to you.

Savings are estimates, not financial advice. Before retiring a tool, check the contract's notice terms, export any data you need, and make sure the replacement covers what people actually use.
